How can you recieve text messages on home phones?
I only ask because I’ve just ordered something from a store and they told me that they would text me when it arrived in store. Then I told them that I had entered a home number into the computer and the girl who was serving me gave me a strange look and told me that homephones can recieve text messages too! Can they?!
No home phones can not recieve texts. The girl at the storee must have been mistaken, unless this is some new thing I have never heard of!!
Write a text on your mobile, send it to a landline. Costs the same as your standard network rate. Works a treat.
