How can my friend be a sing star?

Ok.. so my best friend likes to sing a LOT.. im telling you… A LOT!!! and she has a good voice, so she asked me to add this on the internet.. she wants to know, how to to get started as a singer.. a pop singer. she sings a lot and she has a good voice.. her question is… “Are there any competitions or audiences that I can go to, to get started with a singing carrier . ?? PLEASE DON’T MAKE STUPID COMMENTS. SHE JUST WANT’S TO DO SOMETHING WITH HER VOICE. =)
