How can I get in touch with an editor for a book?

I’m 13 years old and I’m writing a book, I was wondering how I could in touch with an editor to publish it. (Perferrably in the London, Chatham-Kent area)

What you need is a publisher - not en editor (most publishers come with editing services) You don’t need to specify where you want to pick up a publisher…most manuscripts these days are sent by email, anyway and everything can be dealt with over the phone.

Here’s a list of popular publishers: General Store Publishing: http://www.gsph.com/index.php?Lang=En&ID=1 Random House: http://www.randomhouse.ca/ Heritage House: http://www.heritagehouse.ca/ Freund: http://www.freundpublishing.com/ Hancock: http://www.hancockhouse.com/

Make sure you understand that most manuscripts are rejected several times before a publisher picks it up.
