How can I get him to forgive me?
The guy I like a lot, and he is like, my best friend. Well, was. We were talking earlier, and he doesn’t want this girl to have his number because she really freaks him, and I don’t want this guy to have my number for the same reason. So we joke around a lot, and today I said, “I gave [person] your number!!” and he all of a sudden started yelling at me. After I told him I was just kidding, he said, “Whatever you promised you wouldn’t give it to her forget you!” I don’t know what’s gotten into him, but now he hates me. I’ve said sorry a million times and asked him how I can make it up to him, but he keeps saying “whatever you promised.” how can I make him forgive me?
Well, just sit him down and explain to him that you dont understand why he would get upset over a joke. Tell him how close you guys are and tell him you dont want to lose your best friend over a stupid joke. Apologize for the joke again, and leave him to think on what you said. Then ask him what he wants to do about it.
