How and when will my mom stop hating me?

I was using my moms phone to make a phone call when I saw text messages that showed she was having an affair. I was very upset and I accidently said something about it. Now she hates my guts and it’s driving me crazy. We’ve always had such a good relationship and she’s always told me to be honest no matter what. What should I do? I can’t handle her hating me forever.

She wont hate you forever. As unbearable as it is, it is only worse if you think this will last forever. If throwing up several times a day, dealing with swollen ankles, backaches, the pain of child birth, and not sleeping for 5 years did not have your mother hating you, nothing you say is going to have your mother hating you forever. You did not accidently say something. No one accidently says something mean. You may earn forgiveness if you stand up and admit that you said something really horrible that hurt her feelings and you regret doing it.

Tell her that you expected her to be truthful with you and you will doe the smae.Tell her what you think of the messege and see what she says if she stills mad at you.Then umm ac like you never read it good luck:)

If I were you I would tell her that she always told you to be honest and in return you expected her to be honest aswell… Talk to her and explain how you feel… = )x
