Helping Boyfriend Find His Dad

My boyfriend knew his dad when he was younger, but has not seen or spoke to him since. We have spoken about it a lot, and have recently found out where abouts his dad is living. Since then, my boyfriend hasnt done anything about it, I think its because he is scared of being rejected. We have been together now for 5 years, and know eachother so well, however, I dont know whether to email his dad for him, and see what he wants, and whether he wants to meet his son. what do you think I should do?

I would suggest you have your boyfriend there with you when you email him, ask him why he left, and if he would like to see his son because his son wants to see him. Also if your comfortable with it perhaps you could go with your boyfriend to see him to make him feel a little more comfortable.
