Help please (mercedes-benz)

For some reason my 98 mercedes e320 have been doing strange things lately…when adjusting the passenger seat it goes the complete opposite when pressing the button. I was at a red light and all of a sudden I felt a vibration in the brake peddle (the radio went off) and the engine just shut off. Sometimes after removing the key from the ignition, everything shut off (as if the battery been disconnected)..what could be the cause of these electrical problems? The car can go months without any of these problems happening..but it comes back every once in a while! What should I have done on the car a tune up or diagnostic test?

Hi,

I would get a diagnostic done on the car. Mainly because the engine arbitrarily shutting off can be extremely dangerous. It sounds almost like a battery problem, but I’m no car expert.
