how do you remove msn from automatically signing in when you turn on your xbox
Your Xbox account is connected to the MSN account that you signed up with. When you sign into Xbox Live, you will be signed onto MSN. You can sign out of Xbox Live, but you won't be able to play any online games.
I'm guessing your friends start messaging you while you're on the Xbox. Perhaps you can write a message on your MSN status bar saying that you're currently on the Xbox and wont be able to respond to any messages. Or you can buy a special keypad to chat on MSN while you're on the Xbox, if you don't want to key in each letter slowly on the on-screen keyboard.
Sign into the account that it auto-sings you into messenger. Hit the xbox button and go over to the tab on the very right called settings. Hit profile. On the bottom there should be Auto Sign-In. Hit that and disable windows live messenger auto sign in. This way, your Xbox only signs you into messenger when you specifically tell it to. Hope this helped!

the only way to stop it is as soon as you sign in xbox live, hit the xbox button, go to chat & IM, messenger and press A on cancel sign in. if you are too slow and you are signed in to messenger, they you can hit x and sign out messenger
