Tried to ditch school

I treid to ditch school today. I knew it was a bad idea so I started walking back to school and thats when I got caught. My dad is gunna kill me! What do I do? He doesn’t care that I made the right choice and walked back to school

Sorry bud, but in this case your screwed. Although I admire your conscience, regardless of punishment be proud of yourself for having the courage to go back.

Apologize profusely and tell him you’ll never pull a stupid stunt like that again, buckle up and accept the punishment - hopefully, lesson learned.

You have to accept whatever punishment he gives you. Apologize, be sincere with your apology even if it is a lie. If you can get him on your side, then your punishment will possibly be less.

And yes, it does matter that you went back to school, and it should more than likely lessen your punishment as well :)

Bottom line is, don’t try to get out of punishment, and don’t yell at your dad. Take your punishment, let him yell if he wants to yell, and just be good, apologize as well as you can, then do what he says. Fighting with him won’t get you out of trouble, it will make it worse.
