Dog's nipples swollen but has stopped nursing

Just wondering, Lacey’s pups are now 8 weeks old. She stopped nursing roughly 3 weeks ago. Occasionally, one of the pups will try to latch on but she will not let them now. 2 days ago I noticed 1 of her nipples was really swollen. She has no temperature, doen’t seem uncomfortble. Vet does not think it is mastitis since the mammary gland itself is not swollen, just the teat. Said to use compresses again and kepp the teats clean. Well now today I notice another of her nipples is large and swollen. Ever encounter anything like this??

MY DOG DID THAT JUST PET THE MOMMY AND TELL IT’S OKAY I STILL LOVE YOU. MAYBE SHE JUST FEELS LEFT OUT LIKE MY DOG DID, BECAUSE SHE WAS THE ONLY DOG THEN THERE’S 3-6 OTHERS MAYBE THAT ONE PUPPY AIN’T READY TO STOP NURSING. IS SHE THE RUNT??? MY DO GOT SO JEALOUS ONE DAY SHE TRIED TO EAT IT BECAUSE THEY WOULDN’T LEAVE HER ALONE. SO I WALK OVER TO HER AND SAT HER ON MY LAP AND TOLD HER SHE IS STILL MY BABY AND SHE HAS TO TAKE CARE OF HER BABIES LIKE HER MOMMY TOOK CARE OF HER AND EVERY SINCE THEN SHE HAS BEEN WONDERFULL WITH THEM.

I haven’t but I’ve never had a pregnant dog…I think the vet would know best though :)
