He just broke up with me and now he misses me?

Ok, it was pretty much just a fling, we dated for a month then he decided we didn’t have much in common. He’s in California now for Spring Break, and he texted me and was like “Hey how ya been? I’ve been thinking we should hang out some time.” I told him, “Uhh, you just broke up with me like 2 days ago dude” He said that he didn’t think he wanted a girlfriend but he decided it was a bad choice and that he misses me. I don’t know if it’s a load of crock and he just hasn’t found any one else who will give him some or what, but I think I’m going to just hang out w him and be his friend.. I don’t really know what to do, though. He can’t make up his mind and it drives me crazy.
