hamster moving

if I get separate cages for my hamsters(my previous question wich I only have one answer) wich one should I move the mother or the daughter? does it matter? what will the effects of the hamster be when I move it? Like is it even ok to move a hamster to another cage after its been it the same cage for a while.

Answer #1

It’s actually a very good idea to move one, hamsters cant be kept together once they reach maturity because they will become very territorial. My suggestion is to move the daughter. I used to raise hamsters but moved to rats because rats can be kept together forever.
