Hairdresser or Teacher? (U.K)
as an occupation im torn between hairdressing and teaching, I have taken in school, French, Media Studies, History and Art. What career do you think I should take, as I need to move up the country for taching but I can train in the studio for hairdressing as im working and I could go mobile e.t.c but as most teachers need to do extra shifts, like tutouring aswell to earn more money..? Help, and my whole future depends on you lot, no pressure! :)
I agree with that top answer…if you are torn between the two professions, learn hairdressing first, in Australia it’s classed as a trade. Then you could teach later on…or after you have completed studies as a hairdresser…study to be a teacher, then you can do which ever you like best. You have plenty of time. I never knew what I wanted to do when I was younger…now I’m 35 and I drive trains for a living and love it…but 6 months ago, I never even thought about this job…life is like that :)
