Do hair dressers do goth/emo hair cuts or do you have to do it yourself and, if so, how do you do it?

A good hairdresser can do anything. You must must must have a picture though, try and get one as close to exactly what you want as possible. The ‘emo/scene’ cut is fairly straightforward, pretty much just 1/2 head layering and razorcut. I’ve done it quite a few times and it really depends on the hair type to how good it will look Thicker hair will obviously give it more height, girls with thinner hair will just end up with layers but practically no height or poof. You’ll have to invest in some products too, the hair won’t sit like that on it’s own. Also have your hairdresser teach you how to back-comb properly. I see girls tearing the shizz out of their hair trying to back-comb, and it’s breaking off everywhere! Back combing should always be slow and steady. But yeah, defo bring a picture, you have no idea how hard it is trying to style hair when your client is saying ‘oh yeah like a little bit sticky outty like um y’know right? cut in layers but like not all the way with the top more and long at the bottom..?’ Haha so confusing >.<

yes…as Renee said, good hairdressers can do anything. simply bring in a picture or cutting of the hairstyle youd like to make it easier for them to copy for your hair

Of course. What I do is bring a picture I printed or draw them the style I want. Works out perfectly. :) If you want an idea of what style and color you want I can help with that.
