My daughter wants me to color her hair this weekend to match a picture of Hanna Montana when she had brown hair and blonde highlights. I have tried before along time ago with the store bought hair color but it didn't work her hair turned more red then brown. Her natural color is Sandy Brown Blonde but we colored it about a year ago and we tried to go lighted and it turned more like a strawberry blonde. Could someone tell me what to buy at Sally's to make her hair Dark Brown then with blonde streaks in them. I am good at highlighting just not at picking colors and what to buy. Help please
your best bet is to get a picture of hannah and take it to the salon trust me if you want it done right and last longer you will want to have a professional do it. They will do highlights the same day and the formula they have for same day highlights will be healthier for her hair you will save a lot of money and you daughter will be so happy my mom does hair and sallys is good for some stuff but if you want a certain look leave it to perfessionals
You're most likely better off letting a professional do your daughter's hair. Because being good at highlighting isn't all you need. You need to know what colors are going to come out right in your daughter's hair. I just got my hair highlighted a few days ago & my hair sort of looks like hannah montana's. Somone actually mistaked me for her. It was weird. hahah.
if you go to sally's the girls working there can help you find exactly what you're looking for, just ask them and be specific.
If you want to know why Miley DOESN'T have blond highlights it carmel. On brown hair it would LOOK blond.
Let a proffessional do it... Take a picture of it to them... They know what they're doing..
