my online presences hacked the other day, help

I had all of my online presences hacked the other day:

a social site - deleted Flickr - deleted Livejournal - deleted Deviantart - defaced and half deleted Modelmayhem - defaced and half deleted.

That’s what they did.

The thing I’m most concerned about is that they somehow gained illegal access to my email and either changed the password or deleted it as I can no longer get into it.

They also changed the passwords for my deviantart and modelmayhem.

I WANT to regain access to my email first and foremost, please help!

I contacted MSN, but what else could I do??

For free services, the problem is (because they are free) like MSN email, etc, there is a good chance they won’t be able / have time to help you out.

Very sorry to hear this has happened to you. A tip for the future: make sure your passwords aren’t written down anywhere people can find them, don’t store the password in browser memory (eg, auto fill in) and if you share the computer like at school, or with roommates, then make sure you logout, else some mischief maker could do this again.

Perhaps somebody else has a way of figuring out how to get back what you lost, but if not, then hopefully you can rebuild it all. Good luck.
