How do I know what group I will fit in for highschool?

You don’t need to be in a group, and frankly you don’t want to be. When you get into class just say hi to the person you’re sitting beside, make conversation and make new friends. If you fall into a group then great, if you don’t then great.

there isnt cliks at my scool. theres only like this one group of scene/emo kids but there the only group. and theres sum ppl mor popular then others but they still talk to every1. we just hav ppl we hang out with more then others. plus i wouldnt worry bout it. the bestt thing u can do for urrself is not worry bout it cuz it causes unnecessary stress thts not worth it;p

Now… not everyone can tell her “don’t worry about it”!

Generally, “groups” relate on the type of music they listen, activities, and fashion!

Ghetto- Listen to Gangster Rap and wear Specific Gangster brand Clothing because that is what the rappers wear. Pretty much all ghetto ppl do is be loud, speak with a fake accent, do use Stimulants (D.R.U.G.S. are not allowed on this site) and cause trouble.

Preps/Popular- Listen to a variety of music but mainly Pop. They wear “in style” clothing based off current fashion trends. They are very active in a wide variety of school activities an do well in school, But More preppy ppl party then you would think!

Goth/Rocker- Listen to Metal/Rock. They wear band tees and eccentric black clothing. Typically, they don’t participate in after school activities (except maybe drama club) Many are musicians, writers, an artists. Most use illegal substances and some are trouble makers

Skaters/Bikers- Listen to Punk/Rock/Hardcore. They wear logo specific brands that are also worn by professional skaters/bikers. They usually don’t do after school activities because they are at the skate park. Alot of these kids are now becoming “straight-Edge” (drug free) because they are concerned about health an performance.

Emo/Scene- Listen to Emo/Hardcore/screamo. They are a trendy twist on goth. Many are “straight-edge” because everyone else is. Less is known about their activities because they haven’t existed for very long and the whole emo thing was frowned upon at my high school.

Nerds- Listen to a variety of music, many like country. They dress “normal” to crappy. They are the misfits. Often because they were sheltered as a child They are not confident and are unable to connect with others. Some have a problem fitting in due to their physical appearance.

Of course, these are very generalized stereotypes mixed with my experiences in a small town in the Midwest… .

High school will be over in a blink. Things change alot when it’s over. About 80% of the beautiful admired people will get fat and ugly.. The misfits are the ones who usually end up better off in the end :)

when i was in my second school i was the popularist kid ever,. got into highschool .year 7 and up im hated in some ways for being me and i get bullied. it changes alot trust me. might not do for u but the dorkiest became the popular slags and me. well im at the middel bottom.
