How many of you actually graduated from college?

I was speaking with one of my professors today and we were talking about how in a two year college by the next year one half of people drop out and in a four year college in the second year about 30 percent of the people drop out. I’m curious now how many of you actually graduated from college.

I went to college to do a starter course on what I want to do in the future. I had done catering because I want to be a cook. I’ve always wanted to be a cook but now when I think about it, I know alot of stuff about computing. I had done Administration, Computing studies and Business Management at High School and all of them involved computers. I love computers and i’m pretty handy with shortcuts… so I was thinking.. Maybe I should do a computing course at my local college. I want to do this, it would be pretty sweet. Plus if I created a website or a game in the future, I could also do my travelling and work on the website abroad. I love to travel and I have know a guy at my local coffee shop that has created games like Farmville, Frontiereville and more and he showed me proof. It was really interesting. He only has a few belongings and he said he could just pack up and leave and no-one would know he was even here. I’d love that. I’m really thinking about planning a computing course at my college now. I mean, it’s a thing i’m interested in and I want to do it. If I got accepted into the college for a computing course, i’d go through with it all the way. I haven’t even started college yet never mind graduated but hopefully, i’d love to graduate in 2 or 4 years or so. :)

I havent technically graduated, but I am a graduant. I have completed the terms of my BSc. I decided to wait until I finished my post-graduate diploma in science to graduate so I could get both at the same time. However, during the year, I decided I loved research so I upgraded to masters. So now I am just going to graduate again next year anyway.

Answer #6

Im gonna graduate, never gonna drop out. No matter how hard it gets, :D

Answer #8

I didn’t. I stared at a community college, and was going to start with an Associates in Computer Science, them move onto something more specific after that at a 4yr collaged.
But after the first year my financial aid got screwed up so I decide to take a semester or year off. I probably should have done that between high school and collaged any ways.
But then I got busy with life- full time job, got a g/f, we moved in together - and when the next year rolled around I had kinda forgot about collaged. Now and work full time doing graphic design, building signs, and keep the shops computers running :P. And in about 4yrs one of the owners his going to sell his 1/2 of the company to me :P. So it didn’t turn out horribly for me :P.
