Virginia, the williamsburg and yorktown area is where I am at. It is a historical district, we have battlefields, lots of history and nature. We also have Busch Gardens when you want to do something a little more exciting.
Finland, lots of uninhabited areas, tons of hiking trails and lakes , you see lots of wildlife when driving around, fresh produce from markets, but it's pretty chilly, best time to go is in summer; July or August.
If you are thinking internationally, we have some awesome places over here in South-Africa, such as Drakensburg, you find awesome hiking trails there with awesome views.
