What is a good idea for something to do with my boyfriend in a freezing cold winter with not much money?

My boyfriend is actually going to take me out for the first time in months and I get to pick what we do! Problem is, I have no idea what to do. Normally I like things like picnics on the peninsula but the weather pretty much rules that out. I would like to do something a little bit different, not just go out for a meal or see a movie. Advise please!

Museum.

Cultural / community event (do the have flea markets there, or performances from community theater?)

College theater (I was in a play, once…but that doesn’t mean they’re all bad).

Car shows, if they have one, those are sometimes in doors.

Around the world party - each house in a circle of friends serves a different dish of food, and you finish up after a few meals, traveling around, which can be great fun if it’s easy to get to & fro.

That’s about all I can think of at the moment…
