What's a good home school schedule....?

to finish really early? I have six classes, and I do them like I would a regular school day. I was trying to think of a schedule that would allow me to finish faster. One of the options I came up with was to do three classes one day, for the same amount of time as a regular school day, and then the next three the next day for the same amount of time. Or if I continue doing what I do now, which is do a little of the six every day, would that help me to go through it faster?

My cousin did home school, she always got her work done as early in the day as possible, this way u have the rest of the day 2 do whatever u want.

I like the idea of 3 one day, 3 the other day. That way you can really spend time on each subject and go through your work thoroughly. Then you get a break of the subject the next day! But you should check with the organization you are studying from to see if that’s allowed. I definitely suggest starting early in the morning, sleeping in is a terrible habit to get into! Give yourself a strict start to the day. You have no travel time of having to get to school so you can even start an hour earlier than school, and finish an hour earlier! Where I live, school starts at 8:45am and finishes at 3:15. If you started at 8 and finished at 2:30- you’re saving 45 minutes to do what you want! Remember school breaks an hour for lunch time and half an hour for morning break. If you could have a smaller break and eat your lunch while studying or something, you would save even more time. Hope I helped!

The way Im doing it right now is Im doing one subject at a time. Like, right now, all I do all day is Algrebra. After I finish that, I wont have any for the rest of the year. I usually get done around the same time most schools do, but if you work harder than I do haha, you could get done sooner in the day. I think this way will help me finish my classes earlier than schools get out, like around graduation time. So..ya. Ive done it the way youre doing it, and I finished it about the same time I do now, so it didnt make that much of a difference. Another thing Ive done is what we call “mega-days.” Its where I do just 2 days of school a week, like, 14 hours a day, and then I have the rest of the week off. I really like that, too.
