I don’t know I dont think it would be that bad… I’ve never given birth but my mom said it didnt hurt at all it just felt like a big poop coming out of your vagina as I’ve been told lol

Hell yes, it’s going to be painful. Probably the most physical pain we will experience in our entire lives. But it will get over. Final product: a new life. (:

from the experiences my ex wife had she was fine. she said the best part about it second to bringing a baby into this world was the epidural

Answer #4

The I’ve hurt worse than the epidural.. they induced my labor and the baby’s heartrate kept dropping so they did a c section.. I probably had the worst post surgery experience, not to scare you though. My contractions just felt like the baby tightening up to make my belly hard.. my contractions were off the chart but they weren’t painful, it just felt like pressure.

without eppy it can feel like you are going to die so says my friend

Answer #6

If you have an epidural, it’s not so bad, …so I’ve heard.

I am 21 years old. I had my first son when I was 18. It really hurts but the pain medicine helps a lot of it. My second son was born two months pre mature and was a c-section and that you dont feel as much pain. I would love to lie and tell you it doesnt hurt but it does. On the other hand it is the most rewarding thing you could ever have happen in your life. Hope it helps!!!

I’m just going to be honest - I wish someone would have told me what REALLY happens before I gave birth - I learned it all the hard way.

The Birth: -Your pushing something the size of a watermelon out of something the size of a pea. -You are most likely going to tear, sometimes from front to back. -You get stitches. -You get poked in the back for the epidural -The epidural usually just takes the contractions away not the pressure -The pressure is a whole different kind of pain, imagine all your intestines, trying to escape from your vagina. -The contrations are like period cramps times a million. -The nurses are coming in every 30 seconds, to stick their fingers in you to check for dialation, give you a catheter to drain the pee out of you, and to poke around down there. -You can not eat or drink the ENTIRE time you are in labor. All you get is ice chips. -There the ring of fire, as they call it when the baby’s head crowns, it really does feel like your vagina is on fire and ripping! -90 percent of women take a crap while they are pushing the baby out, you can’t stop this from happening.

After the Birth: -Then afterwards, you have the fun adventure of bleeding for up to 6 weeks. The first time you get up out of the hospital bed after giving birth, blood and fluid gushes from your vagina all over the floor. -You’ll most likely pass blood clots after giving birth too. If you dont get to the bathroom fast enough, they can fall down your pantsleg. -Dont forget, no tampons! Only big nasty pads for the next 6 weeks! -Your breast will be engored and sore and will leak milk from anywhere from 1 week to 3 months. It is painful and you have to wear bra pads in order to keep from leaking through to your shirt.

You should really try going to the site baby-gaga.com. It’s a question forum and chatting forum for moms and mom’s to be. You can learn a lot on that site - that’s where I get all of my information from.

Anybody that tells you it won’t hurt has never had a natural labor. I’ve had 3 natural (no pain medication at all) labors and they hurt more than anything in this world. The only thing I can tell you is that when you go into labor stay focused and remember to do your breathing, it really does help. Also yes it might be extremely painful but while you’re in pain your mind will also be thinking about the precious little baby that’s about to join the world…so the pain you WILL be able to handle. If you decide to get an epidural don’t expect it to take all the pain away…a lot of times it leaves an intense pressure. And try to remember not to be embarrassed by anything that happens (whether it be nurses checking to see if you’re dilated or having to have someone help you go to the bathroom), remember that the nurses and doctors have seen everything and you won’t shock them at all. Above all else just keep in mind that you’re about to see your baby for the first time so everything you go through is worth it.

Good luck and congratulations :)
