Why do girls give nicknames like trigga, backbone, middle finger, ace, etc to each other?

Lol cause they think it makes them sound stronger and more like they could hold themselves against a challange. Can also be to intimidate other into thinking that persons a badAzz., or they just think its cool to sound kinda scary and gangster.

I’m just gotta go with your answer, I’ve never personally used these terms. I just call my friends and best friends by their actual nickname like “dayday” or “yvonne”. or I call them by their last name.

ther scared of being hurt from sum1 else so it makes them seem more intimidating but i wouldnt kno for sure without seein them for myself.
