What's getting tonsils out like?

It just feels like a bad sorethroat…for the first couple of days, don’t drink heavy milkshakes…I drank a lot of Powerade and Gatorade when I had mine out…mashed potatoes with graavy go down easy after a few days…

horrible. I was 17 when I got mine out, and I couldnt talk for two weeks, and I found no food appatizing. I lived off of juice(whatever I could get down) for two weeks. I lost a lot of weight though

I was 18 years old when I had mine out and its was terriable I couldnt eat, drink, or talk for two weeks and all I did was sleep not trying to scare you but it hurt really bad and the doctors told me since I was older it would I didnt even want ice nothing no ice crean jello nothing yeah I lost a lot of weight but everyone might be diferent hope I didnt scare you you will be fine its worth it. it hurts just lost mine yesterday, its hard to drink anything and hard to talk and eat, but not to scare you, but you wouldnt want to eat, tried eating mashed potatoes, i almost choked
