Getting rid of stress.

Im a U.S.Marine in Afghanistan an I need music besides Rock/Love song Country to help me de-stress an what other type of music would be good for me to listen to?, for before when I was in Iraq I had allsorts of stuff.But now I dont an what I have seems not to be working.Any suggestions?

Most grateful dead is relaxing, you don’t have to be a druggie to listen to it, I’m not and I love the grateful dead :) The red hot chili peppers and things like that personally relax me, avoid anything like linkin park, as much as I think they’re talented musicians, their music tends to be depressing.

I would say john mayer is quite a relaxing artist to listen to. all of his music is great but a few songs of his that I find to be calming would be ‘clarity’, ‘wheel’, ‘vultures’. but that’s just me lol I hope that helps ;-)
