Why was Germany named Nazi before?

Like during the WWII, the German Forces were called Nazi Forces. Why did they change it to Germany? Is there any meaning of these names of the country?

Germany is the name of the country, it was still named Germany when Hitlers Nazi army were running it. The countries name didnt change. Nazi forces were Hitlers army that followed his command to try and create the “perfect race”.

Germany was sometimes referred to as ‘Nazi Germany’. This was because the National socialist party were in power and Adolf Hitler was leading the country. The nazi policies are a whole other different question. As for why it changed, In 1933 when Hitler assumed power of the german government the term diminished.
