Do you get a new gene line if you get a blood transfusion?

Answer #1

Probally not because genes have a lot to do with chromosomes.

No, you do not incorporate the genes from transfused blood and the blood cells do not divide. In about 3 months after your transfusion all of those cells will be gone and replaced with blood cells generated by your own bone marrow.
