the clubs thing is way not true. trust me, i live in vegas. only fun things to do here are to go to red rock canyon, hoover dam, lake mead, swimming parties, ca$ino pools, mandalay bay aquarium, circus circus adventure dome, freemont street experience, fort, the skate parks, daily music events, local band shows. thats why most kids here are all alcoholics & potheads. theres nothing to do.

See the sites, look around, take pictures, as everyone else mentioned go to clubs, you could check out the local entertainment like theatre and cinema.
