what does it mean when your friend say your going to be bait in high school ?

I’m not sure if times have changed, but when I was in high school it meant that you were going to get beat up a lot.

well if he is joking that hes just picking on you. trying to get ou worried and scard for highschool.

usually upper classmen pick on freshmen. i dont know why but its a usual high school tradition.

basically means jailbait, like all the boys will want you and stuff and like if your under 16 and your going out with a boy say is 16 or 17 then like they tend to call it jailbait, its not that bad cause i was 15 going out with a 17 and all his mates used to be like jailbait.
