Why do teens want to be pregnant?

you know, I couldn’t agree more. I’m 18, and still waiting. most people lon’t agree with my opinion, but here it goes: you should wait until you are married to have a child. that way, you are in a committed relationship and you don’t have to worry about being alone.

I’m not really a teen, but most think I am… I was 21 when I got pregnant, and couldn’t be happier. My parents aren’t too happy, but my mom can’t say anything because she was married and had two kids by 19. My older brother and I are 11 months apart. I don’t know her reason for it, but for me I always wanted kids and knew that I should have them young. I know I won’t be alive past 50, so it’s best to have them much younger.

they just want attention. even good attention is bad attention. or maybe its just a way to make their boyfriend stay with them. so its strictly for selfish reasons.

To tell you the truth I don’t know why teens like me want a child. I will admit for a few days now I have been thinking about what my life would be like with a child and it has a lot of pros and cons but I have decided its worth the wait. And Howell I know a few people do use it as a way to keep there boyfriend but the way I look at it thats a dumb idea most of the time cause then they just deny the child. So your probley right :P

It’s a trend. Sad but true. It seems like a lot of young girls are getting pregnant together, and it’s “cool.” It’s sad to see them throw away their lives and their childhood so soon, talk to any teen mom out there, they will say they love their kids to death, but they wish they would have waited.

melissab A 21 year old and a 14/15 year old are a completely different story though. When you are 21 you legally an adult, you can drive, you can hold down a steady and well paid job, you could have finished college already. It’s a huge difference. I understand the not wanting to be old when you have kids, but 21 is not old at all. I was 22 when I had my son. I’m glad that we waited until then.

idk some ppl are just sorry to say STUPID and selfish. if u cant respect yourself the how the heII can u take care of another kid????
