How do I fix the Grand Theft Auto 4 lag problem for PC with Windows 7?

  If it's lagging, are you sure your video card and memory are enough to support the game? If so, I'd try just reinstalling the game, otherwise upgrade your hardware. Just because a computer has Windows 7, doesn't mean the hardware is all that. Plus, the OS could be sucking up a ton of memory (like Vista does)
