If it’s lagging, are you sure your video card and memory are enough to support the game? If so, I’d try just reinstalling the game, otherwise upgrade your hardware. Just because a computer has Windows 7, doesn’t mean the hardware is all that. Plus, the OS could be sucking up a ton of memory (like Vista does)
