I belive you're right....but...how loud do you hear the music from the restaurant on the beach when you're underwater? I think fish detect moovements in the water, and how do they do that?Through vibrations that a fish makes when it moves. And any sound is a vibration. So I think they can...But I"m not sure wether they can only hear the sound if it's source is from underwater,or they can hear it if it's source is out of the water aswell.
I believe they can, maybe depending on the species, but they mostly sense vibrations/movements in the water, especially sharks. They also have a good sense of smell and sight depending on the species.
General fish like small ones that are kept in an aquarium...can they hear things such as : music, banging, etc.
I don't think so, pretty sure they just sense movement and vibrations.
fish dont have hears. they move according to the waves of water
