I don’t know for sure but it seems like you’d be in a constant dream.
I’d say you’d be awake in a different reality, your mind would create some place for you to go while the damage that’s been done is repaired. You’d be aware in the dream and you wouldn’t question the experience as you wouldn’t realize it’s not a dream. You wouldn’t remember it if you woke up as you can’t remember dreams.

I was in a coma for ten days about 14 years ago and honestly don’t remember any of it. I do remember being out of the coma, but don’t remember the actual moment that I “woke up”.
