Something went wrong!
Hang in there while we get back on track
Everytime she looks your way, You’ll stammer and you’ll choke, because this is pure beauty, from a heart that never broke.
Her eyes are like blue swimming pools, and you want to swim inside, and they’ve held water over years, because she’s never cried.
You know when you see her smile, that she hasn’t felt the pain, that she would never hurt you like I do, and you don’t want to hurt again.
Best of all she wants you, and let’s you into her heart, so soft and pink and bloody, and willing from the start.
I know my eyes are swollen, from all the times I’ve cried. I know my heart it hardened up, and it’s blood supply has died.
My smile is always fake, and my teeth cut through your skin, and I never tell you secrets, and I never let you in.
So I’m asking you to leave me, and take a step above. I want to help you for once, and let you fall in love.
She’ll let you in her heart, and I want you to learn, Because I have never let you, love me in return.
I’m not worth what she is, so I’m telling you to proceed. She’s all you’ve ever wanted, all you’ll ever need.
I didn’t write it but I love it because it’s so true.
ANNABELLE LEE
Author: Edgar Allan Poe
It was many and many a year ago, In a kingdom by the sea, That a maiden there lived whom you may know By the name of Annabel Lee; And this maiden she lived with no other thought Than to love and be loved by me.
I was a child and she was a child, In this kingdom by the sea; But we loved with a love that was more than love - I and my Annabel Lee; With a love that the winged seraphs of heaven Coveted her and me. And this was the reason that, long ago, In this kingdom by the sea, A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling My beautiful Annabel Lee; So that her highborn kinsman came And bore her away from me, To shut her up in a sepulcher In this kingdom by the sea. The angels, not half so happy in heaven, Went envying her and me Yes! that was the reason (as all men know, In this kingdom by the sea) That the wind came out of the cloud by night, Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.
But our love was stronger by far than the love Of those who were older than we Of many far wiser than we And neither the angels in heaven above, Nor the demons down under the sea, Can ever dissever my soul from the soul Of the beautiful Annabel Lee. For the moon never beams without bringing me dreams Of the beautiful Annabel Lee; And the stars never rise but I feel the bright eyes Of the beautiful Annabel Lee; And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side Of my darling, my darling, my life and my bride, In the sepulcher there by the sea, In her tomb by the sounding sea.
AND
DREAMS (Cranberries)
Oh my life Is changing everyday In every possible way
And Oh my dreams It’s never quiet as it seems Never quiet as it seems
I know I’ve felt like this before But now I’m feeling it even more Because it came from you
And then I open up and see The person falling here is me A different way to be I want more (impossible to ignore) I want more (impossible to ignore)
And they’ll come true (impossible not to do) And they’ll come true (impossible not to do)
And now I tell you openly You have my heart so don’t hurt me You’re what I couldn’t find
A totally amazing mind So understanding and so kind You’re everything to me
This is the one I wrote on my own:
Just One
Feelings well up inside As you take the first stride The heart filled with life Takes a dive into a world of strife Let the moment be full of bliss Close your eyes for just one kiss
its REALLY long, and its also a song by Loreena McKennitt the highway man but there is TOO many banned words in it so just google it if you wanted to read it
My favorite love poem so far is “Shall I Compare Thee To A Summer’s Day”, a sonnet by William Shakespeare. I looove the intense imagery in there and how he bsically tells her that she is so beautiful that he cannot compare her to a summer’s day :) *tearsss :’)
I love annabelle lee!
but this is my fav…
When you’re away, I’m restless, lonely, Wretched, bored, dejected; only Here’s the rub, my darling dear, I feel the same when you are here.
whoa, got a little happy with the post button, there.
