Can a man, after having a 10 year old vasectomy ever have this reversed so that he can have children again
It depends on the kind of vasectomy & the technique they used. If they just cut & cauterized, then yes, it is reversible.
If they cut, removed a chunk of the tube, and then cauterized, the odds are astronomical that you can get it reversed b/c there is so much tissue & tube missing.
So if it was you, then you can find out what kind you had & go from there.
I've had a vasectomy and they pretty much told me that it was next to none that I could get it reversed and have a chance at more children. Even a regular vasectomy, there is a really low chance of it actually being successful, and it costs sooo much more than the vasectomy itself.
Good luck in your attempt, but probably not. When I had mine I was told that they are essentially irreversible.
yah my dad did. when he was w/ my mom he got it done.and now him and my step mom are going to have one.
Some vasectomy's are reversible... There's no guarantee, but you could talk to your doctor...
