Lately i have been enjoying older music, such as Vera Lyn, Doris Day and Etta James. Have you guys got any sugestions to some old fashioned music i would like?
Ditto to Frank Sinatra. Most of that generation is gone, but I think Tony Bennett and Johnny Mathis (a bit younger) are still active. Others are Bing Crosby, the Andrew Sisters, The Ink Spots, Nat King Cole, Peggy Lee ("Fever"!), Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Lena Horne, Nina Simone, Ray Charles, Sam Cooke, Hank WIlliams, Jimmy Rodgers, Johnny Cash, Chet Atkins, Patsy Cline, Fats Domino, Harry Belafonte, Woodie Guthrie, The Weavers, and a bit more recently, Burt Bacharach, Dionne Warwick, Dusty Springfield, Barbara Streisand. These go back anywhere from 30 to 60 years, in several different genres, if that's what you had in mind.
Cliff Richard, has always been a preferred singer to listen to.His voice is really good and his singing is meaningful.
I hope you like him,i can guarantee though.
The spinners, The temptations, Bill withers, Al Green, Louis Armstrong, those are really the only ones I can think of on the stop off the top of my head :)
