fallout 3 for pc

I got fallout three on my ppc and when I click play it bring up a little balck box and I cant paly=[ anyone know why??? please answerr fast!!!

Quite a few people have this problem. I found this solution on Gamestop forums:

Perhaps if you download Fallout Mod Manager and launch the game using it instead of the normal launcher it may help. FOMM bypasses certain things that the normal launcher does not. Here is a link to that program. Just download it, open the .rar and click the .exe file inside. See if this helps.
