Facing the beast(rate my poem)

The flames in your heart burn with such a rage. Melting your shackles and the holding cage. While I only stare my breath becomes a waste. Although I’ve seen your anger…which was but a taste.

I raise the sword that shall pierce your heart. When I begin to lunge is when you fall apart. You break free of your shackles my attacks all missed! You will never know the meaning about being pxssed.

He lunges at me…what the hell can I do? He stands up straight and says “well look at you… I thought you had come here to have me slain! Not to let me free and cause yourself major pain!”

Forced to fight him I raise my blade. “I will never break a promise…that I have forbade!” He laughs at me and points his arm in the sky. Down came a blast that almost had me die.

“What promise can you keep when you’re almost dead?” He utters these words and they fill me with dread… The light come nearer and I wander off. He says “Good-bye” with a disgusted scoff.

That was the day that my spirit left. My wreckless actions that had caused the theft… of my life of my soul and one true love. My life was torn apart from a Devil’s Glove.
