Praying God will instruct & direct you where you need to go. In Jesus Name Amen.

Do you believe in praying?

Not much at all. I do, however, expect a lot from God’s promoters (I was tempted to say marketers). Like, for example, to actually do what Jesus said and not just tell others to do what Jesus said.

I believe that my life and my choices is in my hands and I’m the one who is responsible for my own happiness. I don’t rely on any god in any form to direct my life.

Nothing. I am his. I have been given so much, too much. I do not dare to expect anything, it is all up to Him. I am in his hand and I know I am in the right hand.

Cool….But expecting is saying that you know all things come from him and u r not taking for granted..I only shared my testimony with one person here…I took the basic things in life and with other things for granted…now I have RA…and everyday I am expecting to be heal and mobile..expecting also helo\p u to be grateful and appreciative. It also help you to practice your faith…and to be humble.

Praying that you will meet Jesus & finally recognize God in your life..Then to accept Him. In Jesus Name Amen…I also pray that you will find true happiness!

Amen..yeah I agree but those things can be destroy or a theif can come steal them away…sometime we must empty our pockets to recieve…It is more bless to give than recieve but that is not talking about recieving from God & having pride where you dont try to recieve. It is saying that what a blessing to be able to give and God blesses those who give…Always expect to be bless because God is a giver!

Nothing. I’m the only one who can make things happen in my life, in my opinion, so I have high expectations of myself. My life is what I choose for it to be.

Just personal guidance. I don’t expect anything because I don’t deserve anything from god but I know other people that could use the power of god.

I know there is a god, but I have my own way of believing in him. I know that he did not put me on earth for me to sit here and wait for some miracle, its up to me to do my own part too, the rest are just details.

I agree that u have a part..just expect God to give u the tools and the things you need to help u with the journey call life. He does miracles. Miracles do happen..You only get what you expect out of life…You expect your employee to pay you..You expect people to respect you..You expect nice service at restaurant..You expect the products to be good when you buy them….You expect things from yourself as well..So why is hard to expect from God?

Joel..do you tell your parents not to clothe you..not to call and visit..do you tell your coach not to put you in the game…do you tell your friends not to hangout with you and respect you…do to your teacher not pass you? I hope you are understanding why ask those question. God love us unconditional. So it is never a matter if we deserve it. It is just what he does,

God do gives us a free will. Yeah, it is up to us to be obedience to Him…Praying that you will seek provisions and directions form God and develop a relationship..In Jesus name Amen

Well said, Miguel. Although I agree with Igrene that using the word ‘expect’ is giving them too much credit. I too, wish, dream, hope, etc that Christians would at least practice what they preach… but I don’t expect that to ever happen. Sorry, just the realist in me.

No.. I can’t say that I agree with you there. Everyone has free will and the power to make their own decisions. This isn’t something a god can give or take.

Touchy subject,,, God is who created me,he is giving me oxigon to breath. He gaved me water to drink. He created many creatures that provide us milk and meats. He made everything in order.Ecosystem.Plants,animals and humans are living all together in one world,Man cannot do it and handle it,and i didn,t came out of rock.There,s wisdom in it,Thats my Belief.And i don,t want to live this life only once.Coz i believe that there is something hidden in the end,lol.not end of world.i can,t say that”YOU MUST BELIEVE IN GOD”coz i don,t have proof.i,my self will make sure after i die,not determined yet. Never was i,,,Never will be exepting anything from him.He already gaved me everything i want&need.coz he always do things for reasons.coz there is reason for everthing.i don,t need to consider about it :)

The same that I expect of Santa, nothing. Just like I am sure that you don’t expect anything from Allah, Thor, Krishna, Zeus, Mithra, or any of the other gods out there that people believe in.

secular..u need to study Biblical language…yeah there are different beliefs about the Bible & God..But there is one God…and the rest our idols…now I don’t expect anything from idols…because they are unexisting &fake….God (have many names even in the Bible),Jesus, Holy Spirit are one that have angels…Now there the enemy of God that is the Devil (He also has many names) but he have demons. I EXPECT GOOD WITH GOD! I EXPECT BAD WITH THE DEVIL…Some people worship the devil as a god. Good vrs Evil…Which side are you on?

Stephen…that is good that you recognize all of this but Abraham & Moses request things of God! Jesus, himself ask will the cup be move. God is unconditional..say expect from him is recognize his love and practicing your faith. Why you believe the way you do is because all of those things because you know of His Love.

Why do so many christians automatically assume that non-believers no nothing about their religion. I know far more than most christians, and I have come to the only logical conclusion. There is no evidence other than an ancient text written by superstitious men. There is no reason I need to waste my time on wishful thinking. I deal with what I know exists, not what I hope exists. If one day there is even one shred of proof, I will revisit it. Until then I will live my life to the fullest because this is the only one we have.

I love God alot.Every thing what you said is right,,, Even if i bowed after him for whole life,but i could never thank him as it worths. Am a human.ofcourse am needy soul.I will love him more if he solved my daily problems.I want from God to make my dad back to job so i can continue my study,or this will be my last year as student..I want from God to make me more emtionally stronger :)

Unlike most Christians, many nonbelievers have read the bible. And, not just the bible! We don’t stop at one book. My disbelief in your god is the same as you having disbelief in Allah. Just in case you didn’t know, because it seems pretty obvious that you don’t, nonbelievers lack a belief in the devil too. To say that anybody who doesn’t believe as you do is an evil person, is a very sick thing to say. Jimahl pretty much states everything else that I would have said.

It is hard to know someone exist let you being introduce to that person…unless u met the person….think it about in this way…People put their money in the bank..they never met the bank’s ceo nor the board but they know they exist…People go to Walmart all the time but still don’t head mangers, the ceo, owners, and board but they believe they exist….people go online and talk to people they never met…So I am saying is u just have to believe..and that when you are going to see ..

.Allah means God..That is a name of God that is given…Some nonbelievers do believe in the devil too. Some believe in a higher being, some believe in just spirits….some just believe in science….etc…there are different groups of unbelievers….some are religious groups and some are pagans. There are those that are confuse about what they believe.

secular…I dont believe that all nonbelievers are evil….I am just stating the reality of that Good and evil does exist..Christians believe that there are lost sheeps (unbelievers & believers)..the reason they are lost is because of their unbelief..or because they never been taught…it could be many reasons…We believe that we shall show Jesus thrrough serving and loving…even our enemies.We blieve that God loves everyone.

Yes, but Allah is the Islam god. Their religion has nothing to do with Jesus, your god, or the bible. Atheists and agnostics do not believe in any god, although agnostics just take the stance of “not knowing” anything. Deists are ones who believe in a higher power, and not the “helpful, loving” god that religious people believe. Maybe you are thinking of Satanists, by the way, they believe in god too. Pagans still count as religious people, not nonbelievers. I think it is you who is confused about other people’s beliefs.

What a ridiculous analogy Igrene. You are comparing the existance of people to the existence of a supernatural being. If I really want to, I can go and find these people and see they are real. Can I do that with a god? Can I go and see hin in person? And again, why do you assume that non-believers have never tried to “know” god?

I was taught all about christianity. I spent years going to church. My lack of belief comes from logic and reason. Not from a lack of knowledge.

exactly i agree with jimahl . How about i believed in god and went to church until i watched my amazing grandmother die if cancer for no good reason.If god was real why would he let pedos live and good people die. The existence of god doesnt make any sense and i respect people who believe in him but i dont.

I am talking about the facts on religions period..God is love…Love is something you can not put in a lab tube or under microscope..nor in a closet…you can not make some one have it..science are not going to understand everything or can not really explain love..But those who have love can tell you the attributes and what love looks like in a behavior..how do love make you feel and function…where do love come from…God is Love…Love is the center of everything..God loves you!

You are now speaking in metaphors, and one can make up any metahpor they want. Love is an emotion that science actually has some understanding of. They have identified the chemical reactions in the brain that cause one to feel love, and psycology has identified the conditions in which love will occur. Their is no such data or facts that can be used to understand a diety. And I have lots of love in my life, my wife, my kids, my siblings, my friends. One does not need to believe in the supernatural to have love in their lives.

His everlasting love and guidance. So far, I believe God has watched over me and has given me the career, lifestyle, my partner and families, all these things make me happy and blessed. No matter what lies ahead, whether bad or good, I will never forsake the Lord and He will never forsake me.

And if our God is for us than what could ever stop us? And if our God is with us, than what could stand against us?

i dont understand why you would believe in God then. (I am not criticising, just confused) if you expect nothing from God, why did he create you? speaking to an evangelical christian, who told me that God created humans to love and to be loved, but 1. this seems that God doesnt love us back, 2. this would imply that God was lacking in something, or somewhat ‘lonely’ making him imperfect.
