My answer: Practicing one's religion in a place where it is illegal. Or allowing a dying patient to smoke pot to illeviate pain. Or euthanasia. Your thoughts?
I saw on a tv show one night where a guy had to go to Mexico to illegally pick up some anti-venom stuff for his son. He had to get over there and back within a tight time frame or else his son wouldn't make it. He was scared he wouldn't make it through customs or that his short trip would look suspicious. He made it with a few scares. The nurses didn't want a part of it because it was illegal and they could lose their liscense. Amazingly though the doctor said he'd administer it, he knew it would help. It wasn't the boys fault we haven't done enough testing to say whether its safe or not. They got it to him just in time and he survived!
It may not be ethical yes in the grand scheme of things, just saying lots of us don't think twice about doing so... and have no fear of repercussions, so don't consider it a crime.. but yes in ways i agree with what it does to the film and music industry... however screw the cable companies lol...
downloading off the internet is no exactly ethical. It may not mean much where you, but for my country, that sort of thing can kill any chance we've got of having a film industry. Its stealing and screws our film makers chances at the box office
sorry i didn't see the rest of your question before I responded... medicinal marijuana is legal therefore for the patient it is ethical as well.. I was referring to smoking it in general, because i don't see it as illegal..
