Employment or tring with a felony
I went to a prison boot camp and have 2 felonys for stealing from a department store and I had my cna, cma ,chha health linc. And and wantting to go back to school to be a x-ray technician can I get a job with having a felony ? And I was aslo looking into the ulrasounds techincian programs . Do you have to go through the board of nursing to become employied or do you go throught the place of hire ?
Your first question about the felony charges. Every job is different; some places will but some won’t; it usually ends up that they won’t though is the bad thing. And it’s horrible because it’s with you forever and can prevent you from getting houses, jobs, etc, etc. My husband did one thing wrong when he was a teenager and 30 years later it’s still there. But, I wanted to tell you that you can try to have your records expunged. Call your the sheriffs office or police department where you were convicted/went to court at and ask them how to get your records expunged and you can also look it up on the net, “How to get your criminal records expunged”, and it will tell you the process.
