What is a easy way to remember names?

say it over and over and over again.. or write it.. but all i have a good memory so i know there names by heart when i first meet them

I remember names and people by faces and also jokes meaning I have a joke for all my friends which I always tend to tell them. Also this strategy keeps your jokes original

You could say them over and over or have like pictures and say the names according to the names, so you know who they are.

I’m terrible with names. I try to think of a mnemonic device. Even when I can’t think of one the effort of trying to think of one usually helps me learn it.

I would say to just get to know the person better and the name will come easier. If not then relate them to some characters that you like or remember with the same name. If the person is distinctive the task will also be easier. Try writing it down somewhere with their description as well. If your better with visual try drawing a mini picture of them with their name next to it. Good luck :)

Well I deal with people on the phone and in person all the time and it is not that bad when I am talking with engineers, but when I am working with the Director, CTO, CFO, and CEOs they can get kinda of fussy if you miss up there names.

Forgetting certain people can be a career limiting move.

I rarely have to deal with people at “C” level but there are directors and vice presidents who I should try to keep straight.

In cases where I don’t remember names, usually I just talk to the person until I happen to remember. Parts of the conversation or how they talk helps me to remember. Sometimes I also associate their name with something unique about them (unique laugh, smile, hair do, face structure, etc). Sometimes I have words I use that rhyme with their name. I like to get creative sometimes.

VP and P titles I find are rare to talk to with the companies I deal with, most of the companies I work with are publicly traded.

You could write the names down in a tablet.
