What does it mean if you drink something and you get this random pain from your chest all the way down your side to your stomach after you swallow it?

Answer #1

It sounds like you may have swallowed a bit of air along with the liquid. If that’s the case, it’s not a big deal…it’s just an air bubble.

Answer #2

okaay thaanks.

Answer #3

No problem. It’s happened to me before. It can also happen if you try to burp, but instead of burping…you swallow that air. As long as the pain stops, it’s fine. It shouldn’t last more than a few seconds.
