Downloading games
I have windows xp. I can’t download a lot of games that I use to be able to play such as wheel of fortune, sorry and life etc. I have tried to free up space but this doesn’t help. Any advice?
Try using the disk defragmenter option on your computer. It organises the files on your pc to make them run faster and speed up programs. And yes it will free up some space on your pc.
Programs> Accessories> System Tools> Disk Defragmenter.
You could try disk cleanup. This will con-pack the files so your comp will run faster. I don’t know if it will help much with downloading games but its a start.
how old are these games? if they are prior to XP and use 16 bit or even 8 bit graphics then do this. over the games .exe file press the second mouse button -> properties -> compatibility then change those to windows 200 or NT and change the resolution or the colors to 256 colors
How much free space do you have on your harddrive?
