Don't You Just Love It!

When You Get Sterio Typed?

nah I dont xD and nobody does it freakin hurts!!!

Answer #1

I think stereotyping is normal to an extent. it’s like mandyloo said; it’s natural. but when people take it to the extreme and yell at others for being “emo” or “goth”, it does get pathetic. it’s something that’s (sadly) part of life though, and you basically have to let it go.

Answer #2

I actually like being stereotyped…because I liketo face them and have sad arguements then put them in awkward positions…ussually makes them quit the whole stereotype thing… so I like a verbal fight with positive result…

Answer #3

Well it does bother but I just look at it like that person is stupid for thinking that everyone is the same and that they missed out on meeting a good person like me just because of there stupid stereo types…

Answer #4

It doesn’t hurt me to get stereotyped at all. I’m a 23 year old women, and I’ve been called emo, goth, punk, the devil, antichrist, morticia, elvira, wednesday addams. I’ve heard it all. I just shrug it off.

Stereotyping is just something that happens. Some people don’t even mean to do it - it comes naturally.

Like when you see a girl with blonde hair, cheerleading shirt etc. You think Prep. Same as when you see someone dressed in all black - your first instinct is the word Goth.

Most of the time - it’s not meant to hurt anyone. It’s just a descriptive word and you shouldn’t read to far into it.
