No, but it will remove the green color in your hair that is caused by chlorine.

I highly doubt that it changes your hair colour…

I was once advised by a hairdresser to use ketchup on my bleached hair, which, due to excessive use of sun-in, had developed a green tinge.

It didn’t work. In the end I used a wash in wash out auburn semi-permanent hair colour to rectify the green.

Hair does turn green in chlorine. Dark haired girls don’t get it though. I had green hair… I had to sit in the tub for hours with baking soda plaster in there, but it did get it out!

I heard that it you put it on and leave it in the sun it will dye blonde hair a redy colour, depending on how often & how much you use but it doesnt work very well & will wash out really quickly. if you want your hair to lighten do the same thing but with lemon juice.

well I have heard that it does but I have never met any one who has done it. I would advise you to go and see a hairdresser or maybe get a very dark brown bye and take it from there go lighter slowly
