Yeah, Photoshop is fairly expensive, although students can get a discount from adobe.

Just so you know too; It is illegal to use “cracked” copies, so I definitely wouldn’t suggest looking for a copy of it on the newsgroups. Especially not in any of the warez groups, where they have pre-cracked versions of commercial software which would normally cost you hundreds or thousands of dollars, absolutely free for the taking. Yeah, that would definitely be bad, so I wouldn’t even think about looking at http://www.slyck.com/ng.php or http://lifehacker.com/356000/download-files-with-usenet to learn how to download tons of movies and songs or files like photoshop from the newsgroups.

In fact, you could probably just use a free online photoediting service such as GIMP instead. You can find it GIMP at http://gimp.org/.

Yes, Photoshop costs money. A lot of money. You can attempt to crack the trial version to use from Adobe or you can download a program that is free called Gimp. Gimp is not as nice but no need to be pirating or spending way too much money.
