Does anyone know how to form a band?

It’s like my dream to be in a band,but I dont know where to start

then after youve got some people for your band youll need to have amps, all the cables and equipment…not lots, but enought to make some sound together and have nband practice reguarly first practice easier songs, or ones that you all know or are familiar with, then move up to more difficult ones…even make up some of your own if your all up for it

find a drummer and a singer, then look for a bassist, then guitars last because everyone plays guitar

Gather up people who have a talent involving instruments and singing and make a song before you take the next step…

good comments so far. get your band together, get AT LEAST one good song, then start playing at different venues. coffee houses, borders books has a band night every month. stuff like that. go get your stuff recorded AT A STUDIO. don’t go cheap at this point. it’ll probably sound crappy if you don’t, and you want your cd to sound good. then get it played on a radio. most big cities have at least one station that’ll play amateur stuff every week or so. I live in los angeles, and we have three that I know of. that’ll get you started. go live the dream.
