Do you have any good makeup tips?

Does anyone have any good makeup tips that really work? Do you have any awesome products that you can’t live without? I’m very bored with my makeup and need something new! Thanks!

Heres a long answer for you :)

For best results, do this in daylight and with the correct brushes. FFoundation always has the correct finish when applied with a brush as a spounge absorbes to much of the liquid and your fingers deposit too much grease.

Step 1- prep First wash your face clean of all bacteria, and apply a strong moisturiser over your forehead cheeks and chin.

Step 2- Base Use a consealer brush and consealer (the exact colour of your skin tone. If they haven’t got your skin tone, try mixing two colours together!) to cover any dark circles, blemishes, or red/dark patches, to get an even look. You should then cover your skin LIGHTLY in foundation if your skin is an uneven colour. Make sure that you cover anywhere only depositing what is neccesary because you don’t want it caked on. Then, lightly dust power on areas with “ugly shine” I.e. nose, forehead, chin.

Step 3- Eyes -Eye cream First, use a soft eye cream to wake up your eyes. Apply a shimmer just underneath your eyebrows and in the outer and inner corners of your eye. If you want a natural look, this is very improtant because when rubbed in can make your eyes look very awake. -Eyeshadow

      -For a Natural look:

Cover your eyelid in a brown/cream eye colour, and deposit come just underneath your lower lash line smudge in with your finger.

       -For a Dramatic look/Smokey eyes:

Use three shades of the colour your using. (A darkest shade, a medium shade, and a lightesst shade) Apply the lightest shade (should be white) right up to the brow line, because you wont be able to see it, but will create subtle contrast to the colour you are using. Next, apply the medium shade all over the eyelid and above the socket line. Now, work the darkest colour into the socket line and around the edges, winging it out on the side of your eye and below your lower lashes. Then blend blend blend! -Eyeliner In both cases, use on the bottem lash line, and upper lash line, just going with the shape of the eye, but applied more boldly and smudged in for the smokey eyes look. -Mascara (This has to be the most important peice of make-up as it can transform you) Hold the corner of your eye taught with one finger and use the other hand to apply mascara on your upper lash line in a zig-zag motion as this will stop clumps. Don’t pump your mascara wand in and out of the container because it will just let more air into your bottle, drying the mascara up for bad brittle results. Always apply a tiny bit on the lower lash line too. It’ll open your eyes out.

Step 4 - blush Smile like a mental person and apply a(peach for light skin and a tone lighter then your skin for darker skins) on your cheekbones.

Step 5 - Lips First use a strong lip blam to prepare your lips, and use an old toothbrush against your lips to get rid of any dead skin. Now you must decide the colour. If your blessed with tanned or dark skin, dark reds and deep pinks and browns look gorgeous, but if like me your unlucky and have snow white skin a very light pink or natural colour is best. If you want it very natural, go with your foundation and a bit of consealer mixed in, it’ll suit your skin tone. First use a lipstick along your bottem lip and rub them together. Kiss a tissue to get rid of any extra lip colour. Finally, apply a lipgloss in the same way and smillleee :)

I hope this helped a bit. I’m a whizz with make-up. Just message me if you need anymore tips.

Avon has a product called Magix. This is my number one secret weapon in my make up bag. You use this before any other make up OR you can use it alone. It helps to cover any imperfection you may have and makes your face feel amazingly smooth. This product is usually 10.00 or less. You can order this at www.youravon.com/nsmith6315

Answer #4

Well my cousin does it, you can try it. She puts lotion on her face before she puts compact on, so it stays on longer!

Try it!
