Does my Dad deserve a second chance?

of course. I’d love to have a dad in my life. he may not have been there your whole life but give him a second chance. see how things go. & how he reacts.

Father is a father what ever he does for you, sometime we make mistake when we judge on people because they shows us that they don’t care about us but they are as you know every one have different personality perhaps he is from the people who shows that they don’t care, but they do they care and he doesn’t call you because he knows that you will call him and maybe he is waiting every day your call even he doesn’t shows you. Give him a change he is your father.

it depends on how you feel about it. do you think he deserves one? I knew my dad for the first 9 years of my life… then he dissapeared. and now hes trying to get back in touch with me. I wont let him cause he left our family because of drugs and a new wife. and its very painful. so I didnt let my dad-figure have a second chance but if you really love your dad then give him another one. =]

Be cautious. He was an a-hole before when he left your mom to fend for herself, and he probably hasn’t changed much. Get some history on him first - what was he like, why did he leave, was he an addict, has he done anything dangerous…
